Memorial Ceremony for Martyrs of Recent Foreign-Backed Riots Held in Tehran

A memorial ceremony marking the 40th day since the deaths of victims described as resulting from US-Zionist crimes was held in Tehran with the participation of Mohammad Reza Aref, First Vice President of Iran, families of the victims and a number of civilian and military officials at Mosalla of Tehran. The victims were related to unrest on January 8 and 9, when peaceful protests in Iran were hijacked by armed militants, leading to clashes in which they were martyred. The ceremony included speeches by officials and tributes to those who lost their lives in the incidents.
